Hello again. Not often Big Fish Games releasing two new Hidden Object, Puzzle, Adventure games in every day. But in these two days it happened. So today I'm reviewing new high-quality Big Fish game (I never met any Big Fish Hidden Object game's failed, not all of them were brilliant, but none - completely boring) - Mystery Legends: Beauty and the Beast. Storyline of the game, as it is obvious from the game title is build on the basis of classical tale story about Beauty and the Beast. But scriptwriters doesn't went easy way - when the story of the tale ends, the story of the game just only begins.
Before we'll talk more specific about Mystery Legends: Beauty and the Beast game (as you mast notice, game continues game series of Mystery Legends) let's see the game video first. As usual, it was created by BigFish.
High-spirited, isn't it? Big Fish can do such videos, that you suddenly want to play this game. And that isn't strange, because Mystery Legends: Beauty and the Beast game is really beautiful.
All of you must remember original story of Beauty and the Beast tale: evil witch curses young prince for not a big mistake. He is doomed to have a face and body of hideous monster,staying the same kind young human inside. Moreover, in time he is going to die. Everyone scared to death and run away from him. And the only way to remove the spell of nasty witch - is to find true love of the Beast.
Only when some girl will be truly in love with him, ignoring his ugly appearance, and will give him a kiss of true love, only then the spell will be broken and young prince once again will become human.
It happened. True love has come and the Beast become human again. But that was only the beginning of your journey - happy life of Beauty and Prince (the Beast in the past) hadn't last long. Once again they are divided by magic and darkness. Lots of obstacles stands on their way to reunion.
You must find help from your old friends, acquire some new ones and meet interesting magical creatures on your way to beloved one. Travel through locations of magical world, restore peace and order in your land, defeat the enchantress, free the prince!
I won't tell you all secrets and twists of the storyline, I might say only that you will be surprised.
Collector's Edition of the game, as usual for Big Fish, includes Integrated strategy guide (you can see it in the video and on the screens, strangely, strategy guide didn't includes any pictures, text only), nice wallpapers and concept art, bonus quests and puzzles and Beauty and the Beast complete novel (for those of us who still didn't read it).
IMHO, game is noble and ambrosian. Gameplay is classical - hidden object scenes, puzzles, again hidden objects with animated scenes, opening the story for you. There is nothing really new in this game, but all old and standart features of Hidden Object, Puzzle, Adventure genres are realized here on the highest level. And as far as game has moderate system requirements (1 GB RAM, 1 GB HDD, CPU 1.4 Ghz) you better play Mystery Legends: Beauty and the Beast - game is worth it.
