Enigmatis game starts with amnesia. Your amnesia. This scenario turn is often used, but oh well. Who cares, if game is successful enough. Before going further into game world of Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek, let us first watch video about this game, created also by Big Fish.
Like it? I bet you do!
Now let's talk about Enigmatis story. As I say before, you have an amnesia, when waking up into the peaceful little town Maple Creek. You don't know neither who you are nor what for the Christ sake are you doing here. Town is placed in the middle of nowhere and, as I said, it is very quiet. Too quiet! There are dangers everywhere here!
Moreover, you should not only to restore your memory from the pieces and save yourself by leaving this cursed town (tip: evil dangerous ghosts included) but also to help some teenage girl, that is also trapped in Maple Creek.
To perform these harsh tasks in Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek you will go through lot of adventures, solve various puzzles and search for variety of Hidden objects. Last thing - is the main component of the game. For example, let's take a look in a short list of items that you should discover only from main game screen shots: Metal figurine, coffee beans, scissors, rosary, crown, tassel, horse, ruby, Libra, pipe, bell, pen, garden soil, angel head, dish towel, oven meat, cupcake, sneaker, shorts, stump, acorn, chain, daisy, tie, raccoon, shuttlecock, compasses, sunglasses, corkscrew, handcuffs, flashlight, lighting, flip-flop, paper-clip, elephant, lollipop, peace. Lots, isn't it? Alright, I exaggerated a little: one object from my list is a fake. Which one? You can check it from the Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek screens :)
Anyway, you will search for hidden objects for a very long time. Fortunately, hints are available and useful.Second advantage - as you can see from the screen shots, graphics is really amazing. Urban landscapes, autumn leaves in the woods - the colors and pictures made just great. Warm pleasant picture, with the help of quiet irritating music creating absolutely unique enjoyable atmosphere of the Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek. The story of the game is in detective style: you are collecting evidences (you can watch them any time in your journal) to find out, what ancient evil lurks in Maple Creek, a tiny sleepy town of Vermont. You will have to meet with a variety of dangers, including wild boars and strange obsessive people.
There are something interesting about system requirements: they are very modest. There are something interesting about system requirements: they are very modest. Only one requirement is moderate - you will need almost a gigabyte of your hard disk free space. That will be enough to have 1.0 GHz processor, 512 MB of memory and videocard with Direct X 9.0 support (which are supported by almost everything these days).
Now let's see, what's included in Collector's Edition:
* Videos - all game videos can be watched separately.
* Hidden object scenes - each scene can be played independently, but IMHO this element of Collector's edition is only for truly addicts of Hidden Object games.
