Hello, my dear friends. Today we will review new horrifying Hidden Object game from Big Fish Games Publisher - The Keepers: Lost Progeny. This game has one great difference from the previous Big Fish Games - it intended for mature only! Let me repost warning from the Big Fish site:The Keepers: Lost Progeny contains some graphic content and is intended for adults only!
And now let's see gameplay video of this extraordinary game (Big Fish isn't usually publish games with an adult elements, so this game really must be special).
At least there's no graphic content for mature audiences in this gameplay here. But whatever: The Keepers: Lost Progeny is a really horror game! I played tons of various games, many of them was about something scaring and horrible - for example, Nightmare Realm, Fears from The Childhood, Edgar Allan Poe Premature Burial and many many others. But this one is the scariest! Some moments even reminds me about Silent Hill game series.
So remember: The Keepers: Lost Progeny isn't intended for children for many reasons - graphics content, scary gameplay, moments that make your blood curdling... For teenagers it may be recommended only with the parental advisory.
Story of this horror game is really great, although it starts very usual:you are the orphan. You lived in your foster home for many years, and didn't know anything about your real parents destiny. Once when you grown up you received very strange letter. It contained photo of your real parents, and on the other side of the photo the name of a small town was written - Rutland. And that was all - no text, no explanation, nothing.
You desperately wants to find out the truth: why are they? Why your real parents abandoned you and leaved to the adoptive parents? Are they still alive? To retrieve answers on your questions you will start your big journey. But your way to Rutland won't be easy from the beginning: looks like the town is cursed! There are some demonic animals around - dogs, birds etc - that attacks your car and yourself. Looks like some evil force want to see you dead.
But these cruel diabolic animals isn't the only danger you will combat in this hideous town. There is lot of ghosts here, mostly evil ones. And even more: some memories from your childhood will returns here! You will recover horrible truth: why you parents abandon you, why they renounced from the own child. And the truth will be shocking!
But The Keepers: Lost Progeny game not accidentally called Lost Progeny - you will find out the burden of your blood, the forever curse of your family. And the most important thing: you will discover, who are the Keepers, why are they so important and why diabolic forces are always near them.
There are lot of various puzzles in The Keepers: Lost Progeny - opening locks, code locks, finding the exit from the maze, completing puzzles and mind-breaking mechanisms. But complexity of them most often is moderate, so unlikely you are going to stuck for a long time. Moreover, you can use hints (under the scull sign on the screen) and for the worst cases - Strategy guide.
Some ghoulish boy in the suit will pursue you and mislead you by any means possible, so beware! Rutland isn't the right place for those, who easily can be scared! Everything will be against you - weather will sent lightnings and storm, animals and humans will try to kill you, even the landscape will be situated most inappropriate way! So you must be strong to discover the fate of your real family in The Keepers: Lost Progeny!
Usually for Big Fish game The Keepers: Lost Progeny Collector's Edition includes:
- Integrated Strategy guide. Standard looking - text descriptions, pictures with highlighted details of importance. High quality, nothing unusual.
- Bonus gameplay chapter. About three hours of additional adventures in horror world of Rutland. Nice, really nice.
-Wallpapers in 1024x768 and 1280x768 sizes. They are nice, but I prefer 1080p.
- Concept art. No comments :)
- Musical soundtrack. Only 5 songs - too few, but I haven't heard another melodies in the game, so I suppose that was all the developers have.

Summing up, this game is a great example of the casual horror. IF you believe all hidden object games you played before wasn't spooking enough - this game is just for you. And I repeating again: The Keepers: Lost Progeny isn't for children!
Rating: 5/5.
